Embedding Flash into your webpage

Requirement

Produce a 'Flash' presentation and embed the object into neatComponents or HTML page.

Solution

For some of the project work we have undertaken, we decided to chose Selteco Aligator Flash Designer an a relatively inexpensive and effective method to produce Flash. What we liked were pretty much instant results after investing only a short period of time in using the system.

What you are able to do is use the design tool to create a movie or sequence. Whilst there is no real programming at all you do need to plan an appropriate sequence with the appropriate graphics and text.

When you have completed your Flash sequence the software package can produces a .SWF to subsequently upload onto your site.

Embedding the Code

In order for the Flash object to be appear on the HTML page both the SWF file must be loaded into a appropriate location and the Code must be inserted. The code fragment is produced automatically by Alligator Flash. An example is given below.

Be careful to make sure the correct path is given for the location of the .SWF file.

Adobe Flash Reader
